Over 100 tons in one day for gilnet boat Bárður SH in Iceland

Gilnet fishing in Iceland now in March has been good

but the weather has not been good and endless storms have been going on

making it difficult for the boats to go out fishing,

but gilnet boat Bárður SH that is the biggest fishing boat in Iceland that is made of plast

went out few days ago with 8 pars of gilnet, and in each pars was about 12 to 14 nets.

the fishing was so much that Bárður SH needed to come three times to land the fish

in the first trip the boat came with 42,5 tons in just 2 pars of gilnets

in trip number two Bárður SH came with 44,6 tons in also in just 2 pars

and in trip number three the boat came with 30,5 tons

total of this huge day was 112,6 tons in one day

and all of this fish was cod
