a small capelin fishery that was underway in Iceland and the highest catch capelin ship is actually not Icelandic

but Tasiilaq from Greenland which landed a catch in Neskaupstaður in Iceland

otherwise, a large blue whiting fishery is underway and the ships from the Faroe Islands have reached full capacity because four ships from there

have reached over ten thousand tons of catch

Christan í Grótinu had 11131 tons in 4 landings and is now number 1

Fagraberg 8516 tons in 4

Finnur Fríði 8631 tons in 4

Vilhelm Þorsteinsson EA is the highest of the Icelandic ships and had 7600 tons in 3 landings

Ásgrímur Halldórsson SF landed the most, however, had  3799 tons in the 5 trips and most of it was herring

he and Hákon EA are by far the highest boats that catch Herring, but Hákon EA was with 3472 tons in the 4 trips the most of herring
