Two new boats to Norway, Twin boats. Ørsvåg II and Ørsvåg III


The brothers Tom-Kenneth and Kurth-Anders Slettvoll shipowners from Kabelvåg in Lofoten recently received two new Cleopatra 33 boats from Bátasmiðin Trefjum in Hafnarfjörður in Iceland

These two boats are twin boats, and the brothers will be captains on the boats

 

The new boats are called Ørsvåg II and Ørsvåg III. The boats are 9.99 meters long and measure 10 gross tons.

The boats replace an older boat that was purchased in 2019.

 

Because these boats are tvin boats, the equipment of the boats is identical

Main engine is FPT C90 410hp connected to ZF286IV gear.

The boat is equipped with Furuno, Olex and Simrad navigation equipment.

The boat is also equipped with front and rear hydraulically operated side thrusters connected to the boat's autopilot.

The boat is equipped for line fishing. Line equipment comes from Beiti.

The boat holds 12 380 liter fish tubes, ore about 5 tons of fish

 
Lifeboat and other safety equipment of the boat comes from Viking.

 
There is a dining room for 4 in the bridge and cooking facilities in the hatches. There is sleeping space for three in hatches. There is a toilet with a shower in the bridge.

 
The boat has arrived in Norway and will start fishing in the next few days.
